conflicts with other's there is something we want more than solutions? What
if conflicts at home, conflicts at work, and conflicts in the world stem
from the same root cause? And what if, individually and collectively, we

questions explored in The Anatomy of Peace."

How do you help someone
see what they don't want to see? That's the central challenge that The
Arbinger Institute's work is designed to overcome.
Our materials introduce people to a little-known, but pervasive, problem:
self-deception.
We define self-deception as not knowing and resisting the possibility
that one has a problem.

3. ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
One or Multi-day Professional Development Program
Program Inquiry Goals: Exploring the Anatomy of Peace
What if in our conflicts there is something we want more than solutions? What if conflicts at home, at work, and in the world stem from the same root cause? What if, individually and collectively, we systematically misunderstand that cause and unwittingly perpetuate the very problems we think we are trying to solve? How does denial keep individuals, teams, and organizations blind to the reality of what is occurring and explains why enormous resources and efforts throw at symptoms are misdirected and contribute to further organizational hampering or implosion.
What if we often create the very problems we think we are trying to solve? As people in relationship, we usually ask, "What do we do when things go wrong? How can I get someone I care about to change?" The more important question is, "How do I help things go right and invite love and change in others?"
These are some questions explored in the Anatomy of Peace workshop. Arbinger's work shows how and why we create the very problems we think we are trying to solve and the surprising way to establish lasting solutions and deep peace in all of our relationships -beginning with the relationships that count most to us: our family relationships. We help people to see in a different way - to see others and themselves differently, problems differently, solutions differently.
4. ABOUT ARBINGER
The Arbinger Institute is internationally recognized for its ground-breaking work in self-deception and how it occurs within families and organizations. Most people feel that others cause problems, but few people feel they themselves are part of the cause. Consequently, no one feels responsible, and individuals, families and organizations seem doomed to live with problems no one seems willing or able to solve.
The work of the Arbinger Institute has solved this problem and systematically helps organizations and families focus on having hearts of peace instead of hearts at war. By reconsidering life with the help of others, Arbinger's work helps people who desire to live a life free of blame. Participants learn how self-deception is at the heart of most people problems that occur in organizations and families - from problems in communication and motivation to problems in trust, morale, and productivity. They learn what the box of self-deception is, how they get in it, how they can get out.
