MY FINAL BOW WAS WITH 70 STUDENT SERVICES PROFESSIONALS IN SASKATCHEWAN COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN APRIL 2014. A MONTH LATER I RECEIVED A BOX OF PERSONAL THANK YOU NOTES EACH WRAPPED AROUND CHOCOLATE BARS. I COULDN'T IMAGINE A BETTER, OR SWEETER, LAST GIG, THANK YOU.
I AM NOW EXCITED TO DEDICATE TIME TO HEALTHY LIVING AND BEING A FULL-ON DAD WITH HANNAH (6) AND VANCE (3) AS WELL AS TO PURSUE MY PASSION FOR WRITING AND EDITING THE INSPIRING GIFT OF THE HIT BOOK SERIES
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO BROWSE THIS WEBSITE FOR RESOURCES TO HELP YOU OR YOUR STAFF BE EVEN MORE AWESOME CONTACT ME IF I CAN BE HELPFUL
I close as I have done with every speech by sharing my favourite quote on the nature of success by Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To have played with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
THANKS TO ALL THE AUDIENCES, LEADERS AND MEETING PLANNERS WHO TRUSTED ME TO BRING HOME A MESSAGE OF LOVE IN SERVICE TO SOMETHING BIGGER THAN US ALL.
GO FORTH, DO GOOD, STAY BLESSED, AND REPEAT AS NECESSARY, PETER

Peter believes in building
hero-rich cultures of service excellence
by revitalizing and
engaging professionals to fulfill a noble cause!
Why Develop a Hero-Rich Culture?
Professionals who are
motivated from within to serve the greater good need less
managing, experience less conflict and are deeply engaged in
pursuit of service excellence. Organizations with hero-rich
cultures have priceless street credibility, for your
customers, as the place to get service and results
and, for your employees, as the place to work and
grow. Ask around your community to measure of your
organization's street reputation.
The business case for developing hero-rich cultures can also be understood as an antidote to the toxic opposite. Peter is dedicated to transforming the "me first" Culture of Entitlement that sucks the vitality out of an organization by imploding otherwise good people who subvert and sabotage performance, team work, service, productivity and profits.

Who are Everyday Unsung Heroes?
Everyday unsung heroes at work are helping professionals who deliver services, programs or patient care with a big heart. They can be face to face or unnamed or unknown to the end beneficiary of the support and help. While some individuals in the group may receive recognition from service beneficiaries, their support team and managers go assumed. Everyday heroes are found in high demand, high stakes or change intensive roles and are susceptible to burnout. They can also occasionally "lose the plot" as to the bigger picture of how what they do makes a difference to the greater good. Most unsung heroes don't self identify.
One clear example of everyday heroes would be laboratory technologists who toil 24/7 supplying timely test results to help health professionals take informed action to heal and save lives. Peter's client list is a "who's who" of everyday heroes at work and represents a broad spectrum of occupations and generations in diverse sectors of the workforce. More Heroes
Peter's life's work is to support everyday unsung heroes to 1. take humble pride in their importance and 2. take good care of themselves to not burn out doing the good work.
Peter is an international motivational speaker and YAK Tamer. As a leader in the how-to industry, he supports everyday unsung heroes to Go Forth, Do Good, Stay Blessed and Repeat as Necessary. He has celebrated the joy of speaking and the business of making difference since 1985. More Peter
